The importance and usefulness of natural active yeasts, and particularly of lactic yeasts, in the nourishment and bioregulation of the intestinal apparatus of horses has been common knowledge for quite some time now. However, problems pertaining to the production, preservation and use of this product have limited its use considerably hitherto.
